This delicate painting, faithfully reproduced as an embellished print on box canvas, measures 26 x 26” and is the partner piece to Nature’s Dream I. Working perfectly as a pair, both artworks also make a striking statement when displayed separately or on their own. The work’s serene colour palette of shades of blue with a touch of purple sets the scene, as the evening sky darkens with the approaching night. Davenport uses her unmistakable signature brush strokes to bring the work to life with branches of pink Sakura and a lively pair of bees, drawn in by the sweet scent of spring.
