This whimsical contemporary artwork from British artist Doug Hyde is a love story in miniature, in the form of a smiling figure holding two red foil balloons. One of these is a heart, the other a letter U, so together they read ‘Love You’, but Doug is taking no chances and has ensured the message comes across by writing it across the bottom half of the image. The glossy finish of the balloons, the endearing expression on the face, the elegant handwriting, all these elements are beautifully rendered and the whole piece radiates positivity and charm. ‘You Have My Heart’ is available as a framed limited edition and is also available in a deluxe edition.
