Golden Angel was made with inspiration from Kjell Engman’s bathing ladies, which have the same full-bodied shape and are modeled after gospel singers he saw performing while traveling in the US. Golden Angel watches over the ladies as they take a dip in the morning darkness – a lovely, thoughtful gift and a wish for happiness.
