When you buy a piece of Royal Copenhagen, you buy a piece of Danish cultural history. Royal Copenhagen was founded as the Royal Danish Porcelain Manufactory in 1775 and has since manufactured porcelain art with profound respect for tradition and noble craftsmanship.

The collectibles are particularly coveted and the plates with the evocative motifs long ago became synonymous with royal Danish porcelain. The first plate was issued in 1908. Among the best known motifs is the kneeling angel on the plate from 1945.
