A Potters Home, comes complete with a black cat! The house itself is called Hill Top, once home to the much-loved children’s author and illustrator, Beatrix Potter, who bequeathed the vast property to the National Trust. Now open to the public as a writers’ museum, Hilltop remains just as Beatrix would have known it. To mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Beatrix Potter, designer, Kerry Goodwin, captures the farmhouse against the backdrop of gently rolling hills. Her presence is timely, as a newly discovered manuscript by the famous author, about a plucky black cat, is set to be released this year.
