Peacock Flower 530/6 limited edition planter has been designed by Nicola Slaney and is part of Moorcroft's 2019 RHS collection. Caesalpinia pulcherrima is a species of flowering plant in the pea family, Caesalpiniaceae native to the tropics and subtropics of the Americas. Its exact origin is unknown due to widespread cultivation. Common names for this species include poinciana, bird of paradise, Barbados pride and peacock flower. Lady Stanley’s delicate study of this flower with wispy stems, each hosting an orange bud, almost mimics a firework. Incredible application of Moorcroft’s famous tubelining reproduces this effect on a delightful planter. Golden hues of red, yellow and orange are sprinkled upon fine tendrils which dance across the clay.
